I never used the VMU screen much anyway, so not having it is no big deal. Though I'll probably use the regular VMU for Alice Dreams Tournament when it's released given how the game uses the VMU screen.

To keep track of everything without always going into the Dreamcast's menu, I organize each slot by genre and print a list on a standard mailing label. Cut in half, the label fits perfectly in the recessed square where the VMU screen otherwise is. I always know which card to use and it keeps everything tidy.

What's nice is that local game shops tend to only have one listing in their systems for VMUs. So it's usually around $5-6 for a VMU, but if they have a 4X they categorize them as a regular VMU. I picked up four 4X cards this way for around $25 (one is an extra right now).DCGXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18419956116822643633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19634944.post-30839574714038930892016-10-24T03:03:48.793+00:002016-10-24T03:03:48.793+00:00Any time Tom. Unfortunately, loading the data from this particiular memory card will instantly crash the game. Darn shame. :(CD ageShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17523924244501827746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19634944.post-4089008577233890942016-10-23T18:27:31.921+00:002016-10-23T18:27:31.921+00:00Thanks CD ageS - I've added that one to the li...Thanks CD ageS - I've added that one to the list :)Tom Charnockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05593308178739317252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19634944.post-20615736235756858712016-10-22T17:48:24.623+00:002016-10-22T17:48:24.623+00:00Spawn ITDH is also one of the games that doesn'...Spawn ITDH is also one of the games that doesn't work with 4X memory card.
