I found out about this as I was looking online for dreamcast wireless controllers (no controllers by retrobit yet :()Jchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05620016187724728742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19634944.post-83091195583342810112022-05-05T18:04:11.037+00:002022-05-05T18:04:11.037+00:00The old VMU may have cost us $75 in 2022 money, bu...The old VMU may have cost us $75 in 2022 money, but it would've probably been $30 in 2020 money. The inflation over the past two years can make anything look good! ;-)
That said, I am excited about this VM2 and I'm definitely looking forward to it. No more beeping and trying to remember which VMU has the save you need!NattyBohhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07861748349931175536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19634944.post-10991817495596110472022-05-05T16:26:21.472+00:002022-05-05T16:26:21.472+00:00This is really cool, and my initial reaction is th...This is really cool, and my initial reaction is that I'd be all over this!

It all hinges on the microSD card for me. I use six SEGA 4X cards for all my game saves, plus a regular VMU for 4X incompatible games, plus one third-party for bleem! games and have never bothered with the screen. It's not explicitly stated in this article or on the website, but I assume transferring saves can still be done from other cards directly on the Dreamcast like any other transfer between DC VMUs? I so, and if I can consolidate everything to on card, that would be pretty fantastic.DCGXhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18419956116822643633noreply@blogger.com
