So the second part of our fantastic giveaway has come to a close, and the 'guess the games' images really seemed to stump a lot of you! There was at least one red herring in there designed to throw you off the scent, and for the most part it seemed to work - the tennis game pictured was neither of the Virtua Tennis titles available for our white box of joy. So there you are - how many did you get right? As anticipated, we did receive several entries that got all of the games correct, and as stated in the original competition post if this was the case then the winner would be chosen out of a hat. And so, the winner has been chosen...out of a hat. Not an actual hat of course - a proverbial one running inside a virtual, 3-dimensional world in which a 486 PC has been working overtime to randomly choose a winner. See? Right, I've waffled long enough about nothing in particular...so congratulations to our winner:

Wow! I thought for sure I had 24/25 but it looks like I got a few wrong. That Sports Jam one was a dirty trick! Haha! The Sonic Shuffle screenshot had me stumped. Where in the game is that? I think I vaguely remember an alternate mode in the game that looked like that. Anyway, congrats to the winner! I can't believe that many people got 100%!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the Sports Jam one threw a lot of people! The Sonic Shuffle image is from a section where Sonic is sat in an armchair and Tails is outside in the garden being an idiot. The shot is of a fish tank and table that is also in the slightly threadbare room. Speaks volumes about Sega's finances at the time the game came out!
