I'm not going to implicate any particular channels with negative bile here, but the flip side of this dark underbelly (the overback?) is stuff like The Game Theorists and Did You Know Gaming? - great channels that regularly upload well-made and fascinating content; and the latter has just released a new video looking back at our favourite system. A lot of the stuff mentioned is information we've already covered here at the 'Yard over the last decade, but it's a well put together vid and has some interesting revelations about the Dreamcast's name and the connection between Sega's machine and the Microsoft Xbox. Enough from me - here's the vid:
Once you've viewed the video, be sure to head over to DYKG's channel for more interesting productions about your favourite games and systems, and also check out their website. Thanks to Twitter user @MellorsAlex for linking the video to me.

I follow very few channels on YouTube, but this is one of them (the others being Game/Show and Classic Game Room). The videos are always well made and I legitimately don't know some of the facts they have.
Same here - Game Sack is pretty good too, although the hosts are a little 'uncomfortable' at times.
A Dreamcast video that DOESN'T belittle the console!? Good video. I'll admit, my fanboy senses were on high alert but nothing angered me. They did a good job. I knew 99% of the stuff, but it was cool to see in a chronological order, and that potato chip thing was new to me.
Haha! I know what you mean. The stuff about the console name being chosen from a competition is something I didn't know about though. Been trying to find out more on this but there's very little info...
Did you know about that Sega/Sony stuff with the Dreamcast? Cause I sure didn't. I always knew about Sega/Microsoft, but Sony too? Hmm.
