Anyone who's even half as embroiled in Shenmue as I am will love this site. It documents in detail the visual differences between the Dreamcast and Xbox versions of Shenmue 2. Example:
The DC shot (left) shows a sign on the door to the left; while in the Xbox version (right), the sign is absent...
There are loads of others, and some are slightly more nonsensical than others (bottles in shop fridges have moved etc) - but it's still a really intriguing study of the little things Sega thought necessary to change...
...and remember to view us with Firefox - Internet Explorer fucks the 'Yard's sidebar up for some reason.

Seesh, you'd have to to be really, really bored to notice things like that, and then make a website about it. 32 toilet rolls instead of 24! Ooh!
None the less though, things seem to have been removed a lot in the X-Box version, maybe to save room for the rubbish english voice acting.
Oh, and they've made a typo where what should be "Prev" as in Previous is spelt "Perv" XD
Yeah, he must have loadsa time on his hands...but interesting none the less!
Nah, I've definitely seen worse...
Take a look here:

The lock-on bug looks interesting though. I'll have to try that.
The graphics look pretty close.. Does the Dreamcast have as much power as the Xbox..?
Nah, the DC isn't anywhere near as powerful as the Xbox. The two versions look pretty similar because the Xbox version of Shenmue 2 is just a no frills conversion. Even though the DC version looks pretty sweet already, I'm sure that if Sega had built the game again from scratch for the 'Box, it could have looked even better: higher resolution textures, more detailed character models etc. The Xbox version, I'm told, does have better lighting effects though...
But of course, I wouldn't give a toss about improved lighting anyway, as long as the gameplay is intact! =D
As far as "128-bit" consoles go power wise, it goes:
X-Box > Gamecube > Dreamcast > PS2
(laugh at me if you must, but compare Sonic Adventure 2, only ported to the Gamecube, to the made-with-PS2-in-mind Heroes and Shadow, then compare DC Dead or Alive 2 with the PS2 one.)
