Let's Play Dynamite Cop!

I don't know if anyone here keeps an eye on my personal youtube account, but I've been doing rather a lot of play throughs of games lately, mainly of Mega Drive and arcade games (because they're nice and easy to emulate), and my latest one is of one of my favorite Dreamcast games Dynamite Cop. It's not the Dreamcast version being played, rather the original arcade Model 2 version on the rather excellent M2 emulator, but it's nigh on identical to the Dreamcast one bar the cut scenes not being pre rendered (and as you'll see, the emulation for these parts isn't quite perfect yet). Either way, if you ever wanted to watch someone laugh and shout at one of the silliest games on the Dreamcast here you go! The first part is below, click here to find the rest of the videos (of which there will be a total of 8 of by tomorrow).

This is such a good game to play when you just want to screw around for about 15 minutes.

I've been watching your 'rummage' videos n Youtube too - they're really good. Quick question - how the hell do you get the Model 2 emulator to run roms? I've tried everything but it just puts a little window up saying unable to load or something similar. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It can be quite fussy, as there are some roms of the games out there that don't work with it and some that do, I still haven't found a working Daytona one yet. They have to be in their rar files, have an exact file name and need to be in the ROMs folder. Other than that it's pure luck!

Picked this up myself the other day, great for a laugh! Did the extra's ever become available for the PAL version?

Do you mean the downloadable content? If so than yes, if you burn the dctool explorer CD you can download the data to your VMU with that, it gives you an extra character (the blond girl from Die Hard Arcade) and some other bits and bobs.

looks like an awesome game that reminds me of streets of rage, but in 3d.
