D'oh!

That title won't make sense until you've read my scathing review of Virtua Shitkicker 2...

But for my sins, I just thought you might like this...it's not related to the Dreamcast in any way, but it is fantastic (and helps the title to make sense) - so there's at least one similarity! Enjoy!

In other news, Quake 3 Arena is just as fucking wicked as I suspected with the Mouse & Keyboard. I had played it with the joypad, and it wasn't too bad to begin with, but the M&K just adds a new dimension of playability and speed. It's easily the best compatible game I've got.
Game: 9/10 Control: 9/10

Oh...and rest assured, Half-Life will be here in the not-so-distant future!

I must also take this opportunity to thank all of you who read this blog on a regular basis - it'd be fuck all without you, so cheers!

You write a mean review ".......as deep as an inflatable swimming pool." class. Please tell me that's a brown slug.

Awesome that you like quake 3 now if you got it online then you would be on it 24/7 :P.

Half life is great too too bad it got cancelled and we got stuck with the kind that you burn on cds . Propeller arena is cool too just annoying how it didnt came out because the twin towers got blown up and then plane games were considered evil :(

And if virtua strike 2 plays as bad as it looked in the arcades then that image is well deserved because it truly sucks!

Cheers for the new blog stuff .

Speaking of arcade style soccer games, have you tried Super Mario Strikers or Sega Soccer Slam? I tried Super Mario Strikers, and it seemed pretty fun to me.

Ross - No, I havent played either of those two games...I'm a huge football fan and not really very keen on anything that tries to make it 'fun.' Those kind of games just don't appeal to me because its not really football - just an imitation.
